Russia said its forces carried out large-scale overnight strikes on military-industrial facilities across Ukraine, targeting sites in Kyiv, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and the Dnipropetrovsk region, according to the Russian Defence Ministry.
The attacks allegedly involved land-, sea- and air-launched missiles, as well as strike drones, Reuters reported. Russia said it struck three cargo ships in the Black Sea, including one in the port of Yuzhnyi (Pivdennyi) and two others operating south and east of Odesa, alleging they were transporting military goods and equipment to Ukrainian ports.
Moscow also said the strikes hit facilities it claimed were involved in producing or servicing Ukrainian drones, cruise missiles and other military equipment, including the Mayak factory and Kyiv Electrical Technical Plant in the capital, the LORTA Aviation Factory in Lviv, two missile-related facilities in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, and the Akvaplast factory in Kryvyi Rih.
