According to International news, a fire broke out onboard the Turkish-owned capsize bulk carrier Beks Force some in the Sea of Japan, on Friday morning.
In particular, the Marshall Islands-flagged 177,200 dwt ship, fleet register Equais listed as owned by Istanbul-based Beks Ship Management and Trading, was sailing from China to load coal in the port of Vostochny.
As explained, two crew members out of 25 on board the Beks Force vessel have been injured and other ships have been directed to assist it.
However, information shows that the 2005-built vessel’s status as “not under command” with two ships located nearby.
Luckily, the ship is afloat and there are no signs of an oil spill.
