According to China’s Ministry of Transport, no survivors found after a Chinese fishing vessel carrying 17 Chinese, 17 Indonesian and five Filipino crew members capsized last week in the Indian Ocean.
In particular, the capsized fishing vessel was the Lu Peng Yuan Yu 028.
As informed, a large-scale search mission has covered the possible area of drifting of the victims.
On Sunday, three dead bodies were retrieved by China’s fishing vessels, and yet another body was recovered by divers from a cabin of a Sri Lankan warship. Three others were earlier confirmed to be dead.
From an analysis of the ship’s capsizing, it is preliminarily judged that there are no survivors from the ship.
