At least one person died and four were injured, while seven are missing, due to a strong explosion in an oil tanker in the province of Samut Songkhram, in western Thailand, on January 17.

According to report, at the time of the incident the tanker was undergoing maintenance repairs, explosion occurred during wielding works.

After the explosion, a fire broke out which was later brought under control.

Due to the accident, one person lost his life, four were injured, while seven more are missing.
